Madone SLR 7 Gen 8 is an aero, featherlight road bike built to race. Its 900 Series OCLV Carbon frame cuts weight and adds aero gains, while IsoFlow tech boosts comfort without sacrificing speed. It’s race-ready with a wireless 2x12 Shimano Ultegra Di2 groupset, Bontrager Aeolus Pro 51 wheels, a Trek Aero RSL one-piece bar/stem, and RSL Aero Bottles and Cages for added drag reduction.
CHROMA pays homage to the metallic colorways found on bike frames throughout the 80s and 90s — but unlike the chrome plating process used decades ago, it took Trek's Project One artists nearly five years to dial in this intricate technique. Not only did they want to achieve this finish using a much cleaner process than chrome bikes of the past, they also had to find a way to get the lustrous look to adhere to carbon fiber.
